ABOUT AW MOVEMENT

 

AW Movement is a woman owned and operated multi-disciplinary movement business, offering group classes and transformational programs and coaching.


With over a decade of teaching experience in the NYC fitness scene and with private clients, AW Movement is the culmination of my experience teaching yoga, strength training, and pilates. 


My goal with AW Movement is to provide you with classes and experiences that support you in creating a sustainable movement routine. I define that as a routine that supports your well being, makes you feel great, and gives you energy to enhance your day-to-day life. You may think that all is a given, but I have found that so many classes and styles of movement aren't very well rounded - they over stress your body, leave you feeling exhausted, aren't well balanced, and don't fully address the important aspects of physical training (ie. building strength, increasing endurance, increasing breath capacity, improving mobility, improving functionality, etc.). In contrast, the class styles I've created address many of your physical training needs, while providing variability in intensity and focus. 


If you've struggled with consistency or finding a movement routine that fits your needs, I encourage you to try AW Movement. The programming was born from my own struggles with finding consistency and dealing with pain, injury, and other physical changes and struggles. I've brought all my years of teaching and studying movement to provide you with the very best! 

On a lighter note, after living in the NYC/ NJ area for 15 years, I've recently relocated to Tampa, FL with my family. I'm currently loving being outside in the "winter," and exploring our new city!
